The Driving School car is fully insured for the duration of all lessons and tests please note you are liable for any fines incurred by speeding or other infringements such as bus lane cameras, box junctions and traffic light cameras.

Personal Belongings

You the student are responsible for your belongings please remember to take all items when finishing lessons, I the instructor will not be responsible for any lost or damaged property however caused,

Lessons & Payment

Timing and duration of tuition will be agreed between you the student and I the instructor, you must notify me of any matters that may affect your ability or entitlement of tuition. For example, loss of UK driving license or provisional license. all payments must be made prior to start of lessons either cash or card via bank transfer 

 

I also reserve the right to cancel tuition if I suspect the use of Drugs or Alcohol. All lessons must be pre-paid prior to commencement of tuition by either cash or card. I reserve the right to increase my rate due to competition and or Inflation. You the student will be given a minimum of 4 weeks’ notice.

 

All hand held phones or tablets should be on silent or turned off during the course of the lesson. You cannot transfer any lessons which have been purchased in your name to any other persons. All block bookings or gift vouchers must be used within 6 months All test fees are your responsibility.

Cancellation of Lessons

If you wish to cancel or change a lesson, a minimum of 36 hours notice should be given.

 

If you fail to provide sufficient notice of cancellation all lessons will be charged in full. This includes cancellation due to suspicion of drink or drugs. The only exemption to this rule is any COVID related issues and having to isolate.

Refunds

You are entitled to cancel pre-paid tuition at any time. Where possible refunds will be refunded using the same method of payment. Refunds may take 5 -7 working days to reach you or your bank. I reserve the right to make refunds to you by other means deemed appropriate. Any block bookings will be less any hours taken at the hourly rate.

Test Readiness

I will keep a constant check on your progress and advise you the student when you are likely to be ready for a practical driving test. The decision will be made on test waiting times and how you are progressing on the number of lessons you have received on that date. Please note all test fees are your the students responsibility.

 

Please note and understand that I’m unable to allow you to go to test unless you the student are at the acceptable level of competence. I reserve the right to withhold the use of my vehicle if you are not at the satisfactory standard.

You the student understand that I your instructor will have data relating to yourself, which includes Your name, address, contact details and driving license No. This information will be kept by me in order to contact you the student. This data is for my personnel use only and will not be passed to other person’s or companies.
